A Multi-Vendor Marketplace That Matches Tyres to Cars and Books the Fitting

The Challenge

Buying tyres usually means calling several shops, reading sizes off the sidewall, and hoping the shop that has the right size in stock also has a fitting slot free. Drivers had no single place to find tyres that fit their car, compare what different vendors charge, and arrange the fitting in one go.

Vendors faced the mirror problem: each store and branch keeps its own prices and stock, and there was no shared catalogue or channel to reach customers, take orders and dispatch a mobile fitting van without juggling phone calls and spreadsheets.

Our Solution

We built a multi-vendor marketplace for tyres, car parts and services, with a Livewire web storefront, separate Filament panels for administrators and merchants, and a single Flutter app for iOS and Android that serves customers, merchants and van drivers. Customers search by vehicle (make, model and year resolved to tyre and rim size through a fitment data API) or directly by tyre size, then narrow results with cascading filters on every facet, on both web and mobile.

A shared master catalogue sits underneath per-store listings, so each store sets its own price and stock for each branch. Fitting centres publish their own service pricing, and mobile service vans run on defined routes with regional pricing, dispatch and hourly booking. Drivers get dedicated screens with background location tracking, and customers follow the van on an in-app map.

  • Merchant sign-up requests and invites, branch opening hours and blocked dates
  • Product-proposal and Excel-import workflows reviewed by admins, including large catalogue imports of around 18,000 products with brand-alias merging
  • Cart notes and services added to the cart alongside products
  • Payment by cash on delivery, CliQ transfer directly to the store, branch or van, or eFawateercom/wallet payment recorded against a reference
  • Store reports, low-stock SMS alerts, admin alerts and a full activity log
  • Reviews, favourites, configurable home sections, sliders and pop-up ads

The Results

  • Fitment-first search: Customers find tyres by their car or by tyre size and compare vendor prices and stock in one place, on web and mobile.
  • From purchase to fitting: Orders can include fitting at a service centre or a mobile van visit, booked by the hour and tracked live on a map.
  • Self-service for merchants: Stores manage their own branches, prices, stock and catalogue submissions in a dedicated panel, with Excel imports reviewed by admins.
  • One app, three roles: A single Flutter app covers customers, merchants and drivers, with full Arabic/English support and RTL layout.
  • Built to be maintained: Over 1,000 automated tests, shared cart logic between the web and mobile API, a hardened admin panel restricted to administrators, and automated deployment on every push to main.
