The Challenge

Organised transport such as employee shuttles involves several parties who rarely share one system: the transport provider that owns the vehicles, the company that pays for the service, the passengers who need a seat, and the drivers on the road. Without a shared platform, routes, seat availability and pickup details are coordinated by hand, and nobody can see where a vehicle is.

The startup needed a single product where providers could publish routes, companies could subscribe their people to them, and passengers could book seats without overbooking a trip.

Our Solution

We built the platform on Laravel 12 and Filament 4 as three separate panels, each with its own role and scope: an Admin panel for the platform owner, an Operator panel for transport providers (each limited to a configurable maximum number of companies), and a Company panel for corporate clients whose users book trips. Passengers and drivers work from a Flutter Android app built with BLoC.

Seat allocation is protected with database locking, so two people cannot take the last seat on the same trip. Once a trip is full, new bookings are blocked. Each booking records pickup and drop-off coordinates and moves through clear statuses, from pending to accepted, rejected or picked up.

Maps are handled with Google Maps, Places and route polylines inside the app, and Firebase push notifications keep passengers and drivers informed.

  • Routes and trips: start and end points with seat limits per trip.
  • Live tracking: passengers and companies follow vehicles on the map.
  • Service areas and gathering points: supported areas plus neighbourhood pickup points.
  • Driver tools: a passenger-request screen for drivers and ratings for driver quality, including neighbourhood drivers.
  • Company reporting: dashboards with booking, trip and passenger reports, charts and PDF export with Arabic support.

The Results

  • Three role-based panels: platform owner, transport providers and corporate clients each work in their own Filament panel with scoped permissions.
  • No double-booked seats: database locking and automatic blocking of full trips protect the last seat.
  • Live visibility: vehicles can be followed in real time, with pickup and drop-off points captured on every booking.
  • Ready-made company reporting: booking, trip and passenger reports with charts and Arabic-capable PDFs.
  • Arabic and English with RTL: both languages are supported across the web panels and the Android app.
